Trading in unlisted shares (Swedish: handel med onoterade aktier) means buying and selling shares in companies that are not listed on a stock exchange, sometimes called private trading. Deals are often negotiated directly, sometimes via a broker, and set out in a share purchase agreement.
The articles of association may contain a transfer restriction affecting who may buy the shares. After a transfer, the new owner must be entered in the share ledger. NVR records such changes digitally.
